The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 in the “Pirate black” colorway is set to return to stores on February 19, 2016 and word on the street is: it will be more widely available this time. So since the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 ‘Pirate Black’ is returning and you guys might want to get it, why not let you know what you might be getting into?
The Yeezy Boost 350 is American rapper, Kanye West’s second sneaker design (first was the Adidas Yeezy Boost 750 released in February 2015) since he left Nike to join Adidas in 2014.
The 350 is a low top moccasin style sneaker with a one-piece Primeknit upper finished with deep black shoe strings. This Primeknit upper is digitally knit from fused yarn, possibly to afford the stitchers the luxury of controlling the flexibility and support required all around this sneaker. This definitely ensures a drastic decrease in waste materials that would have ensued otherwise from making the shoe. It also makes the 350 lightweight, roomy and comfortable. It must be said that the suede quality of the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 is insanely great.
There is visibly a thin red contrast stitch on the canvas latch. Simple as it is, it stands out and makes the shoes look gorgeous somehow.
The name ‘boost’ comes from the full-length boost sole of the sneakers. This in itself is one of the biggest stand-out feature of the 350 sneakers. In fact, Adidas does claim the boost soles provide the best energy return of any foam cushioning setup in the industry, in any weather, and are durable as well. To cut the long story short, the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 is ridiculously comfortable.
In the sole, there is an inscription of “boost” at the tail end, “Adidas” and its logo right beside it, one large white strip with two other thinner ones and two different shades of black.
The Yeezy Boost 350 fits true to size. You neither have to size up nor size down. Go with what you usually wear.
One thing the world now knows (admires or hates) about Kanye West is is not confined to a box. He’s creative, innovative – the true definition of an artist. He’s not scared to be different. It’s a win-win-win for Adidas, Kanye West and sneaker lovers (both aesthetic and performance lovers).
